4 Ways to Simplify Your Thanksgiving Strategy

Happy November! Can you believe Turkey Day is right around the corner?

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, mostly because it’s all about the food! I also love it because it provides a rare opportunity to see my family and friends from all over the country.

Though the holidays are a time of celebration and connection, we often get so carried away with planning, shopping, cleaning, and cooking that we forget to have fun. The day comes and goes with barely any time to catch up or enjoy that juicy turkey.

Want to break free from all the holiday stress this year? Vow to do it differently! I’ll show you how:

Your Simplified Thanksgiving Strategy

  1. Send Evites: It can take hours to call all of your family to invite them to dinner—and even more time to handwrite invitations. Instead, send a festive Evite and ask guests to include any food allergies or sensitivities in their reply.
  2. Clean as needed: When guests are on their way, do you instinctively go on a cleaning spree? While it’s nice to have a clean home, there’s no need to clear out the attic or power wash the garage if no one is going to see it. Stick to the priorities and save the rest for a quieter time.
  3. Set the table in advance: Set the table a few days or even a week before Thanksgiving. If you don’t have enough place settings or space in your dining room, you’ll have plenty of time to order new tableware or reconfigure your setup.
  4. Let us make your holiday dinner: Save yourself hours of time in the kitchen by enlisting our help! Our team of chefs will prepare all of your favorite Thanksgiving mains, sides, and desserts so you can spend more time with your family. We can even accommodate dietary requests with our delicious Paleo, gluten-free, and vegan menu options. Have fun and make memories…we’ll do the rest!
